With the Neobotix ArgoDriveModules, engineers and developers can quickly and easily build their own customised robotic vehicles with omnidirectional drives. The ArgoDriveModules are available in three sizes (Light, Standard and Heavy) with different payloads, which mechanically only differ in their wheel sizes and heights.

The ArgoDriveModules were developed for industrial use and can be used on most industrial floors. However, some important points must be observed when working with the modules:

  • The ArgoDriveModules are equipped with a pure parking brake, which is not suitable for controlled braking. It can be used for emergency braking, but then only has a limited service life and must therefore be serviced regularly and replaced if necessary.
  • The ArgoDriveModules have certified Safe Torque Off inputs that can be used to safely switch off the motor torque. Depending on the application, however, external safety devices may be necessary to achieve the required level of safety.
