Electrical Connections¶
On request Neobotix can provide matching cable sets for your application. Please get in touch with us.
Power Supply¶
Power is supplied via a four-pin M12 plug with T-coding. The assignment is as follows:
Pin | Default Colour | Signal | Description |
---|---|---|---|
1 | Brown | BRK | Brake control, 24 V |
2 | White | 48V | Motor supply, 48 V |
3 | Blue | 24V | Logic supply, 24 V |
4 | Black | GND | Common ground |
Communication and Control¶
Control conenction is made via five-pin M12 connectors with A coding. The ArgoDriveModule has an input and an output connector for all control lines and routes the signals internally so that several ArgoDriveModules can be conveniently connected in series. The pin connection serves as the input and the socket connection as the output. This is particularly important when using the integrated CAN terminating resistor (see below).
Pin | Default Colour | Signal | Description |
---|---|---|---|
1 | Brown | CANL | Bus line CAN Low |
2 | White | CANH | Bus line CAN High |
3 | Blue | STO1 | Safe Torque Off, channel 1, 24 V |
4 | Black | HST | Hard Stop, 24 V, stops the drive and holds the current position as long as the signal is low |
5 | Grey | STO2 | Safe Torque Off, channel 2, 24 V |
Note
Particularly in vehicles with four ArgoDriveModules, no components other than the control unit should be connected to the CAN bus so that the bus load is not too high.
