Configuration

CAN IDs

All ArgoDriveModules are delivered with preconfigured CAN IDs that cannot be changed easily. It must therefore be agreed before delivery which IDs are to be used for which modules.

CAN Terminating Resistor

If the CAN bus for controlling the ArgoDriveModules ends at one of the modules, a CAN terminating resistor must be activated there. A miniature switch is installed in the servo controller assembly of each ArgoDriveModule for this purpose. If ordered accordingly, the resistor is already activated at the factory.

If the resistor is not yet active, please remove the six fastening screws from the cover, carefully lift it off and move the switch to the ON position.

Warning

When fitting the cover, please ensure that no cables are trapped. Otherwise, the module may be damaged and malfunctions may occur.

Alternatively, an external resistor can also be used. To do this, connect a 120 Ω resistor between the CANH and CANL lines on the output side of the control lines (socket contact).
